Crew Lead/Driver

About the Role : Crew Lead/Driver
Join our dynamic team as a Crew Leader/Driver and take charge of leading lawn maintenance and landscaping crews to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces. This energetic role combines hands-on landscape work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key player in our operations, you’ll motivate your team, oversee daily tasks, and ensure client satisfaction through expert service and meticulous attention to detail. This salaried position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership skills while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a crew of lawn maintenance workers, 2-3, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times


  • Professionalism with the crew members both off and on site is a MUST. You will be driving company vehicles with logos, wearing company shirts with phone numbers, you need to act like you're on the job at all times because you are!


  • Operate and drive company vehicles safely to transport crew members, tools, and materials to job sites. This means CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!


  • Perform lawn maintenance tasks mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, hedge trimming. Your only job is not to mow and sit in the truck! Once you're done mowing you get another tool and help your team!


  • Conduct site inspections to assess project needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure work is completed efficiently


  • Maintain equipment and tools through routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance

  • Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded

Skills

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, driving trucks & trailers.

  • Supervising experience leading teams in landscaping/lawn maintenance

  • Knowledge of lawn care practices, equipment maintenance, sharpening blades, checking/changing oil, etc

  • Ability to perform basic maintenance on landscape equipment A PLUS!

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Landscape Crew Member to join the Florida Cutz Team! If you are passionate about creating and maintaining outdoor spaces, we invite you to apply for the Crew Member position with us.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within the landscape industry

  • Respect for co-workers and clients is MANDATORY! We are a commercial landscaping company servicing HOA communities, health care centers, shopping plazas, etc. Professionalism is of upmost importance.

Irrigation Technician

About the Role : Irrigation Technician
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across various outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help promote healthy lawns, lush landscapes, and sustainable watering practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your technical skills, and contribute to beautiful, well-maintained environments. 

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools INDEPENDENTLY

  • Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs

  • Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even water coverage across landscaped areas

  • Maintain detailed records of system repairs, installations, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes

  • Assist with general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks as needed to support overall site health and appearance

  • Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment

Skills

  • CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment

  • Familiarity with landscaping, lawn care

  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools safely and effectively

  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including sprinkler system installation and adjustment

  • Knowledge in both standard and two-wire systems

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety standards

  • Time Management
